60k miles expiring soon
 

Hi all, I have around 60K asiamiles expring soon, anyone have any suggestions on what to do with them? Any suggestions how to maximize the points by a trip or use them for something else? I can add more points to this if needed. Looking for some suggestions :)

Depending on what's your 'soon' is, the following may not be available. I will strongly use it for upgrade(beside from Y to PY, that's a ripoff), if not a free airfare....

I do not recommend for products or hotel stay

They will expire end of Nov 2015. I dont have any upcomg flights so cant use them for an upgrade just now.

Did you have plan for anywhere soon? as award ticket has 1 year validity you may book a tentative day and confirm things up by paying the 1000 miles / 25 usd change fee

If I have X miles expiring Dec. 31, can I redeem them for flights in 2016 - as long as I ticket before Dec. 31?

60k can get you a J trip intra Asia. Or economy long haul. Provided there's availability. or you can burn it off with a few trips to TPE.

I think you can redeem it for ParkNShop coupon. But not at a reasonable rate. Or you can convert your points at points.com to another program, but they also don't have a good exchange rate.
