Hi everyone!
I will be on the 777ER service from LHR HKG and looking for an economy seat. I am quite tall (190cm) and would appreciate some good solid sleep on the flight (as far as it can be in Y).
I couldn't find any videos or picture of row 39 online. Can anyone provide pictures or personal experience? Would appreaciate it. Thanks!

Thank you very much royng! It gives a good idea of how the seat will be although it will be new economy seat. I assume the bassinet forces them to give those seats more legroom. Still not huge. I think I will be happy with 39A, since the emergency rows are voted to be very bad..

Flying HKG-JFK next week in business class. Currently in 12A and wife in 12D. Are those good seats? In the front mini cabin. Have seen above 15,16,23 have lots of differing thoughts. What would you say are the best seats for a couple?
thanks
thanks

mini cabin is good, however when I traveled with my wife, I love to take either two window seat or middle seat, like 11A/12A or 11D/11G.

With the 777 the further back you go the more noticeable the engine noise (and it is lound). The mini cabin is the best place to be seated if in biz class. If you can't get two windows, 12A/D would be a good choice. The two centre seats are not that conducive to talking (at least not comfortably, or in a manner that won't disturb your fellow passengers).

Flew over Christmas and had 12D and G both ways and very much enjoyed the mini cabin. Chatting to my partner wasn't impossible. I didn't really notice the reported noise arising the the crew use of the storage area in the bulkhead in front of row 11 in either direction.

I am a 2-is-better guy. The cabin behind is a J mini-cabin, so noise is almost non-existant. On the other hand, most noise heard in the F cabin in my experience are the FAs talking in the forward galley. Space away from there is therefore preferable. I also prefer 2 because it gives me time to see an FA approaching before they can see me blowing my nose and reduces foot traffic (if you're in 1, then FA walks past you every time they see the guy in 2). On the other hand, if you want lots of drink top ups without using call button, maybe that's better for you

2D. I can't think of any argument in favour of 1D. Did you ask for 2K? IIRC that is available on request as well?
