Yes you will like it much better than the CX lounges - honestly ^^^

The QF F lounge closed for refurbishment two weeks ago.
When it reopens it will be single class, along the same lines as SIN apparently.
Don't know what's planned for the J lounge downstairs, or whether QF and BA will go their separate ways as per SIN and BKK.
So, I'm afraid you can expect even more OWE refugees.

I like the new lounge very much. Good food selection for a business class lounge and champagne is also being served. New and comfortable furniture. Better than BA's Flounge at LHR imo.

Good pictures PETER01.

The ever popular highly polished dark floor tiles (which seem to be everywhere these days) is much in evidence I see.

Just another modern airport lounge isn't it?

Love the pics, PETER01. It's the only CX lounge I didn't visit during my hung-over exit from HKG a week or so ago. However I have to say I was left a little nonplussed by all of the names of the CX lounges now at HKG. Only one F area remains in the Wing (which is nice enough but a bit too "open" for me - a little like the CCR terrace but the whole lounge is "outdoors").

I tried the Wing, the Pier and the Cabin, plus the Haven dining area. All very new, all very nice but maybe a feeling of trying a little too hard with all of those names... Glad you managed to gain access eventually anyway

Very clever and imaginative those Architect fellows I'd say
Being able to change lightbulbs in airports is overrated when it comes to designing them though. They do like their marble though!

Looks nice, but the whiskey selection leaves much to be desired...

Looks very nice indeed, although not quite as nice as The Wing or The Cabin, IMO. Everything seems a little sparse/stark when compared to those lounges.

Thanks for taking the time to post ^

Actually the whole airport was designed by fosters
It's a shame that the additions since 1998 have been done by different architects, and IMHO, look to be a very different design quality. The airport is starting lose it's airiness with the changes that are happening/happened.

PS: I'm referring to the airport generally, not the new lounges.
