J Class on SGN-HKG

Has there been a change on the type of A330 that serves this route. Until recently- the config online showed the regional type of A330 service, however- I just did a dummy booking and found that it looks like it will now be served by the new business class seating.

Anyone know of a recent change?

CX seems to regularly be rotating the aircraft types and configurations on intra-Asia flights.

Just because it shows a long haul configuration today does not mean it will be that configuration on the day of travel.

In April I was 2-for-2 on having the long haul J SGN-HKG, but this is definitely YMMV.

FYI, on my HKG-PVG leg, it originally showed the long haul configuration on the seat map when I checked in online ~15 hours out, but came on board to find the regional seats. Bummer.

Def YMMV. Apr 10, my friend flew HKG-SGN, not sure what aircraft but it was fitted with new J/Y+/Y. Apr 11, I flew HKG-SGN and it was A330 with regional config with old J/Y
