How did you get your Gold status? You should know the answer if you've been with MPC for some time.
If you just got your status without ever flying on CX, then know that you can get upgraded by using Asia Miles.
Or did you get your MPC thru Amex?

Most people I guess ask at the check-in desk (please be sure to bring and show your MPC GO card), but it's best to call MPC directly and request an upgrade about 48 hours after you've checked in online.
