Number of FA Onboard
Does anyone have stats on how many FA's are on certain flights?
- long haul (ie. JFK)
- short haul (ie. NRT)
And how many FA's are distributed to each cabin in F, J, and Y?
Just completely curious

FAs on long-haul flights have two "shifts". After the first meal service, half the crew takes rest. On JFK flights that's generally 4-5 hours. There are 8 beds back in the crew rest area on 77W. Then the other "shift" will take their break after the first one is done. Everyone is working during the meal services, take off and landing sequences.

Thanks for the information!
I am actually got off guard on the fact that CX needs one extra F/A on the TPE flights, but then it makes perfect sense, as the flights are short and you really need to rush the service.
