Cathy Pacific Asian Miles - Claiming Advice Help
I'm trying to claim the air miles for my recent flight - on Cathy Pacific.
Claiming through Asia Miles - Air Claim https://www.asiamiles.com/am/en/account/miles/airclaim
I am asked to enter a single Fare Class (letter) on my e-ticket I can only see Fare Basis is this the same as Fare Class?
The Fare Basis does not have a single letter but a group of letters which are S3MIB
But how do I know which is a the Fare Class letter? Or should I book looking somewhere else on the E-Ticket?

1. It's "Asia" Miles, not Asian.
2. The fare class usually appears between the FLT number and the date.
3. Since your FB is S3MIB (where is your origin, this doesn't look like an ex-TW FB?), the fare class is most likely "S," which is ineligible for AM.

Thanks for the correction and yes there is an S in the booking e-ticket.
FYR - I was flying from TPE-HKG then on to LHR.
I had to get my farther to book the flight but on the Cathay Pacific website with a UK credit card as I could not use my Taiwan bank card. Is that possibly why?

No, the S3MIB is the FB (Fare Basis) and not the RLOC (Record Locator). In the old system (CUPID), RLOCs do not contain number and always start with H, J, K, L, or M.
