CCB Travel Club overseas extra bonus 19 Jun-30 Sep
http://www.hongkongcard.com/forum/fo...hp?id=7671&p=6
http://www.asia.ccb.com/hongkong/per...s/travel_club/
http://www.asia.ccb.com/hongkong/per...onuspoint.html
Extra 10X extra on all overseas spending, on top of the usual extra 2x (3X) for overseas spending on travel club (for 13X)
Limit is 75,000 extra points, so cap at HK$7,500
Should be seperate from eye extra 4X (5X) online, so effectively 17X on overseas online.
Note that this cannot be combined with previous 13X 21 Mar-30 Jun online spending promo - that was in HKD and this is in non-HKD
Kaka - could you update this on category I on post 1 pls? We should have updated the last one against category VI on post 1 also...we were slack...

Is it legit?
1) Use CCB Eye to book hotel online (Basic 1x + Eye 4x + Eye Bonus 8x + Oversea Basic 2x + Oversea Bonus 10 x) = 25x
2) I asked CS, they said Eye can't join that Instant Travel Club? She insisted~
3) We can combine the points in all CCB credit cards to redeem Asia Miles and we only need to play the service charge 1 time only. Not paying separately.
Anyone? Thanks~

host2087:
1. 8X and 10X are exclusive cos one is HKD and one is not - see above
2. Bull. My eye on Instant Travel Club and I receive 7X on overseas online (prior to this promo)
3. Partially true. Plat (eye and old Plat) Visa and MC points can combine, but cannot combine with their Premier VI points nor Plat CUP points.

Follow up Q1: So we do get 25x points, right?
Follow up Q2: Do you get the Instant Travel Club for free on your Eye? Or do you pay $300 for that?

Not as generous as the last one (no min 10% disc, no ice cream) though if we have something to buy it's not bad ($1.04/mile)

Is there an English version of the last link? Or preferably a desktop version too?
Tried to look for it on HSBC's own website...and couldn't find it.
As with past year, must be $500 or more on a single receipt right?

No, it came out of the QR code. It's not even up yet, more like a "watch this space" link.

Times Square/NTP/Broadway/Mannings/Lab Concepts: 30 extra RC/$500 transaction
Caps: 200 extra RC/week
Times Square/NTP need registration
Local spending other than above: 10 extra $RC/$500 transaction
Caps:40 extra RC/week (Note)
Mannings Fri/Sat/Sun: 30 extra RC in addition to above (total 60 extra RC)
Caps: 300/month
Note: this is from the Chinese version. In the English version it says "any", but no such phrase appears in Chinese version. Although English prevails, I won't like to challenge any Local Bank on something it clearly expresses in Chinese but mucks up on the English.
There's also 10RC/week on mobile payments, but that involves putting on the stupid HSBC Paywave sleeve so I have to apply for it.

https://www.hsbc.com.hk/1/2/special/cards/prom214
Capped at 200 extra RC for whole of promo

Written from a QF domestic terminal bench at MEL. My S.O. is still trying to work out the Red Hot Festival bunch of offers on the back of her SYD-MEL boarding pass.

Please help here -
Q1 - what is the optimal maximum $ amount per week for Times Sq and for weekend Mannings? As I understand it, it is HK3500 for Times Sq as the spending has to be in increments of HKD 500. Right? Can receipts be totalled up?
Q2 - what is the $/mile? Is it still HK1.04/mile?
Q3 - is there an overall cap?
Thanks again.

Hi Percysmith,
Not familiar with ins and outs, so could you please let me know what I need to do to achieve the 2,826 RC you posted,
ie, how much do I have to spend at (1) Mannings and (2) Times Square per week?
Trying to answer my own question - there will have to be a total of HKD 10,000 spent at Mannings, leaving HKD 16,500 to be spent at Times Square. Right?
Thanks.

Hi,
Just looked at the T&C in both English and Chinese.
https://www.hsbc.com.hk/1/2/special/.../cards/prom218
Seems, according to Note 3, that there is a serious limit for Local Merchants?
What does that mean? Does it mean that of a total maxium of RC 1600, only RC 300 can be earned locally?
