I had an unexpectedly big bill at Man Ho yesterday (Man Ho @ Marriott is hotel for V/M and dining for CUP) and asked four other card jing including my missus about how to pay it, we all forgot about Bankcomm 10X $1.2/mile (paid with HSBC Unionpay $2.78/mile).
I only had one Bankcomm on me yesterday. I'll just list out the days before I kick myself again.

Awesome. Time for me to use my Prestige Card again. I only used it when I first got the card to get my 40,000 bonus points + 2 nights in Anantara Phuket and to top up my Octopus Card. I will use the card again for overseas spending + cash advance to maximize my Asiamiles earnings.
CCB has the Instant Travel Club Promotion, HSBC has the 6X/11X rewards promotion, I am wondering whether BankComm will come up with similar promotion to the one they had from mid-November 2013 to mid-February 2014 soon.

Note: For the $500 spending, only spending of $500 or above counts and will rounddown to multiple of $500, i.e. spending 700 3 times gets 3 coupons only.

Do you know if this promotion can be combined with the CCB Eye 5X bonus for online and Visa Paywave spending? If so that would make for a pretty impressive multiplier. Also do you need to meet the $2,000/$8,000 spending requirement in your selected spending category?--or does all spending on the card (including in other categories) count towards the $2,000/$8,000 spending requirement (the terms and conditions for this promotion are incredibly confusing!)
