Is CA taking over CX what's going on ?

hey everyone, I've been reading the Air China increase thread and I'm kinda confused, is CA trying to slowly take over CX ?? I would hate for that to happen for the following reasons:

CX has WAY higher standars then CA
The governement would buy planes for CX
The cabin classes would be like CAs which are horrid

Overall I LOVE CX and am not sure what's going on so Please answer thanks

No... as answered in the previous thread, obviously if the Chinese government goes nuts, they can forcefully take over CX, but this will ultimately just kill CX as a brand and pretty much HK/ China as an investment or financial hub, so probably not.

For now, Swire has absolutely no intention of giving up control of CX and CA is already at the maximum % of shares allowed.

Nobody is taking over CX anytime in the near term, CA and CX cooperate on mainland-HK routes and they have a cargo venture based in PVG. CX wants exposure in the mainland and CA wants CX's expertise to improve its product.

CA's new 77W and 332 are very nice, fully flat in business and first, AVOD in all classes. They will also be upgrading their 772 and 332 in the next year.
