"343" is a 2-class airplane, if there is some confusion there. It refers to a A340-300, not 3 classes. CX only has F class on its 747s and 777-300ERs. As for compensation, how did you pay for the ticket?

Looks like I'll be on a 33E in the morning.

I asked my client and they used a consolidator to buy the F ticket. Generally, I would use our corporate travel agency to make the booking but couldn't resist when they wanted to use FC for me. (We are restricted to flying in Econ, regardless.)

I see. Yea as you probably know, 33E is the new long-haul config but it will only have Y and J...no F. And that plane could probably be subbed out at any time

is it possible to ask them to change our flights while receiving the compensation? How much do they pay for equipment downgrade HKG TPE segment usually ??
