so easy CX reward ticket for Chinese New Year
So easy, I called today need a companion ticket for Chinese New Year, made my reservation with agent, got immediate booking for companion to europe. Such a nice agent and so easy to get through on phone. Is this the first post on here that praises CX as my search for advise found only doom and gloom

Availability TO europe during CNY is high cos that's not where most people will be heading. Try redeeming an award ticket during same time ex-HKG to Canada, SFO, SE Asia, and Australia and it won't be that easy!

I spent 30 mins waiting for an agent today. Called toll-free from AMS, but still had to wait.

I've redeemed two tickets HK-SYD over Chinese new year before (it was when I first moved and didn't realise I accidently booked a cruise on these dates!). Had to waitlist for a few months (I was QF Plat at the time, but nothing with CX). I've been trying to do stuff on Delta and other US carriers this past week and boy - does it make you think CX is better!
