Transit question
Looking for some guidance please.
Am travelling BNE-SYD-HKG-ICN return. Will I get boarding passes for all flights when I check in at BNE, or do I need to pick up boarding passes for SYD-HKG and HKG-ICN at those airports? I assume luggage is checked all the way through both ways, except for SYD-BNE perhaps. |
I'm no great expert, but it might depend on how you're travelling from BNE to SYD.
From ADL, if flying QF to MEL or SYD then onwards with CX, QF will only give you the QF boarding pass, and you need to get your CX passes (all of them) from CX check-in at MEL/SYD. Not sure if the same is true for BNE. But you should have no problems with getting the ICN boarding pass wherever in Australia you first check with CX. |
Thanks. We are flying QF BNE-SYD (and back) but all flights are on the same ticket - maybe this makes a difference?
Hopefully the luggage goes all the way through to ICN without us having to do anything. |
Being on the same booking might well help - often I'm not (for a variety of reasons) - but it isn't a guarantee (I've even had QF in ADL not issue onward boarding passes for QF on the same booking).
The luggage absolutely should go through the whole way (assuming there isn't a big stopover in HKG). |
