Finding consolidators for CX
 

I thought I'd pull this post out from a YYZ thread as this question keeps coming up. Most consolidators won't sell retail so you still need to use a TA (or be one). Some TAs, usually chinese, offer even lower fares, so look around.

this and your other response is helpful. now, i just need to find a good Chinese TA in Toronto. should not be too hard?

Chinatown, Markham, Broadview Chinatown, Scarbourough Chinatown etc.

Note that all Chinese/Asian TAs belong to a consortium in Toronto that fixes nett airline fares so going from one agency to the next will not see any fare differences.

This is even more helpful! My wife's aunt is a TA that used to work for LH so i did not know if i could go to her but i guess i can. she is up in Markham....

CX has a very good I class fare ex-YYZ for sale until 19 Jan... act fast mkjr. Most TAs will have it. I believe the last departure is April or so

I checked with my usual Chinese travel agent yesterday but he couldn't find the I class fare ex-YYZ.

looking to travel in (i know i know the heat will kill me) in july....thanks for the tip.

Its a private fare with CX.... that agent is probably not large enough to have access to it personally. They would have to find a consolidator.

Fare is valid for departures until 24May09

AC has a Z fare for $4337AI from YYZ according to ITA. I guess CX I fare is similar.
But why on earth we can't get the I fare online from CX:confused:

does anyone know how much the fare is and when the last return is as well??
