Dragonair and OW

Hi,

Is Dragonair now part of OW? The Dragonair website was a bit confusing.. they had the OneWorld logo, but no mention of it.. I also looked at the Lounge access, and it only mentions the G16 Lounge in Hong Kong and not CX.

I have a flight to HKT on Dragonair and would like to use the CX lounge.

I have just booked a OW awards ticket. Dragonair is considered the same as CX. Similar to Jazz is to AC. Lounge access and everything.

Yes - Dragonair is a OneWorld associate member through CX. If you travel on KA with OW status then you get all the usual OW privileges (as a BA Gold you would get access to the First side of the Wing and the Pier).

If you are travelling in J, you should have access to both the Wing and Pier. Likewise, if you have MPO Silver or Oneworld Ruby.

Lounge access to the Wing, the Pier, and G16 for Y passengers: MPO Silver - yes for CX/KA flights only; OW Ruby - No.
