CX AE Card - when does the 10% discount apply?
 

One benefit of the Cathay Pacific American Express card is the 10% off fees charged by Asia Miles for buying, transferring or renewing miles. I can't find this anywhere but would like to know in what situation will it apply. Do I have to be the donor, or can I be the receipient, or even as an unrelated party who is willing to use his card to pay for the transaction? Is this benefit applicable for sup' card holders?

A similar question on buying tickets online at CX.com. If a supplementary card holder uses his card to buy a ticket for himself online. Who gets the online bonus miles?

• seems all only apply to the basic cardmembers - so supp card holders buying tickets won't be eligible for bonus miles
• seems like you need to be the MPO account holder of the account where you want to transfer miles from, where you buy miles into, or where you want to renew the miles...

Slightly OT, what happens if I purchase a ticket on CX.com originating from LHR? Would that count as an overseas purchase because it is charged in GBP?
