What Are The Odds?
 

I will be flying CX826 HKG - YYZ on Tuesday November 25th in C. Our Asia Regional Office is a corporate customer of CX and have given me a an "Upgrade Request Certificate" for that flight. This is my first experience with one of these certificates. What are the odds that I will get an upgrade?

By the way, I don't know whether this will have any bearing on my chances, but I am currently AA Platinum (OW Sapphire) and will be Executive Platinum (OW Emerald) by the time I take that flight.

You will have a very good chance for upgrade to F on that flight as the load is quite low on F on that flight on that day. Enjoy the suite of CX. It is one of the best in the industry.

BTW I flew that route many times and I always get the upgrade to F and in worst cases I get it on check in. It seems that not many people travel during that time of the year. However, in the summer time it is almost impossible to get an upgrade.
