flying to manila...

well i just got my very first electronic passport. and definitely taking cathay to the philippines this summer with cathay. i just want to know if the airport in manila has lanes for electronic passport holders?

No. I assume you mean the US ePassport? Australia has been issuing a passport for a couple of years with an integrated chip and I am not aware of any country that has special lanes for this.

Also, the Philippines isn't really known for it's quick uptake of technology in the travel sector. Enjoy.

The Philippines has only recently moved from manually typing your passport data in to scanning the letters on the bottom of the passport data page. It will probably be at least another 10 years before they are RFID capable (assuming that's what you mean by "electronic passport").

No.

If you are in the front cabin and another 747 has not landed just in front of you -- you should clear immigration and customs in 10 - 15 minutes tops.
