IFE AVOD Problems
 

I don’t know if any body else has been experiencing and increase of problems with CX AVOD systems recently, my last two flights BKK>HKG 74J (J Class upper deck) and HKG>LHR 74A B-HKT (F Class) on the first flight the system crashed after the first section, on the second flight no matter what selection you made you ended up watching a random program, which you could not pause.


BA offers 15,000 miles for defective IFE does CX?

B-HKT? I've flown the a/c three times (twice in J and once in Y) and the IFE system was perfectly alright. Problems already? :confused:

AVOD was not working on my last flight on a 33B.

I just flown the CX 773ER B-KPA & my seat was 11K, the AVOD wasn't working at all. The flight attendant had to look for other empty J class & re-located me to somewhere else. I remembered when I look around other J seats, some of them (AVOD) just hang (screen forzen) but it seems that those business travelers were busying working on their laptops, they wouldn't care which movies / airshows that going to show...

This doesn't sound promising. 2 brand new planes - B-KPA & B-LAE - with AVOD problems. Another problem with their new interiors and I hope it gets sorted soon.

I noticed that CX is touting their new product in NY at the moment, and heralding their increased non-stop flights to HKG. There's going to be some pretty angry premium passengers if they don't have IFE for 16 hours.
