We are going LON BA X/HKG CX BJS CX X/HKG BA LON next week and I was wondering: a) Will our bags be through checked? b) How do we physically get, air side, from the BA to CX terminals?

Also, as an aside, here in the UK you can buy CX sector fares, as part of a BA ticket, very cheaply indeed. Our sector HKG to BJS was only GBP45!

BA can through check the bags. There is no BA or CX terminal, it is all one big building. After arrival follow the signs to the nearest transfer station (likely to be E2 (iirc) as BA invariably arrive at Gates 15-18), pick up your onward BP, clear security and then go to Gate/shopping/lounge. Dead easy, should take no more than 10 mins.
