My coming HKG-KUL flight has changed to 33B from 333. The seat map goes like this:
11A D K
12A D K

Planning to get A & D (for wife), does anybody know if the D seats face A or does it face K?

Would it be better if I get two A (or K) seats for us instead?

Comments appreciated. Thank you.

It really doesn't matter - you won't be able to see each other when sitting in your seats anyway, never mind talk or hold hands....

If you both get A or K then the one in the row behind would be able to see the top of the head of the one in front if they are over about 5'8" tall.

D "faces" A, not K. Although much of what christep said is true, I would personally go for 11A&D. Alternatively, you can also go for 11A and 12D, the visibility is around the same.

I had the 333>33B substitution happen to me on the same route last week. At first I was annoyed since I originally booked 1A online, when I found out it was sub'ed I thought I was going to be stuck on a regional J seat. I needed sleep badly that day and I slept from the second the wheels lifted off the ground until it was time to land. The bed is good but I hate travelling at a 45' angle though!

Thanks KO2546 and christep for your replies.

11D is taken so I can't do 11A&D. I think I'll go for 2 K seats instead.
