basic redemption question
 
So I too have a difficult time getting through via the phone and therefore have to submit via the web. Do they simply check availability or will they book the ticket? What if there are alternative flights on those day that they have availability? (My flight I'm requesting is US domestic on AA, if that matters.)

Don't use the email option. Asiamiles isn't too great on email requests. Try and fax them if you can, and give them options - ie if this flight isn't available, try another etc...

Thanks GB. It's just odd to me that you request the dates via email and give em your cc, but what is their inventory? when will you know by? etc.

Any idea what their inventory generally is for AA domestic?

They are not good with email! I did a web request and gave my options PDX-PHX or PDX-LAS with dates spread across 2 months! It took almost 2-3 weeks to get this sorted out! They wont book flights but they'll get back to you with the options what they have.

Not sure about AA inventory as my tickets were on AS.
