CX New First Class Check-in

CX New First Class Check-in

Our First Class passengers can now experience Cathay Pacific’s new and improved First Class services at the Hong Kong International Airport, where a total of ten new dedicated check-in podiums await you.

The redesigned check-in podiums incorporate the latest in computer and flat screen technology, ensuring that every check-in is as smooth and efficient as possible. Your personal check-in screen allows you to access estimated departure and arrival times, boarding gate numbers, the weather at your next destination and other important flight information, as well as your Club miles and Asia Miles balance.

It is! I noticed very little difference when checking in other than that the check in area is larger (although I am not known for being particulalry observant!). ;)

its kind of strange that making CX logo in silver but onewold logo in its orginal colour.

my personal feeling that the colour they used make the whole check-in area very "cold".. especially the silver CX logo. personally, i prefer its in cathay green.

The big change is that they now have 10 podiums ... I think it used to be 6, so that is almost doubling the capacity. Must be a lot of Emeralds using the F checkin these days (I have never seen a queue, there are always waiting agents whenever I have checked in, but I transit more often than not so don't see the check-in area).

you are right, i believe majority of people did not neither. certainly, good that if you did. btw, did your design school teach that personal feeling can be rated ^ or :td: ? can you share where's the line? i would be delighted to know if you don't mind.

i too prefer cx green. i think of the 4 tier colors, the green is prettiest.

A missed opportunity at the refit - the passenger information screens at each podium. Rather than unhelpful information about the weather, they could have been used to show the seat map for the flight instead. @:-)

How ignorant can the people on this board get? There are more than four.

I don't think that is a good idea and it might encourage pax to keep on changing seats

I actually find the weather information quite useful. I plan my seats ahead, so that would be less helpful for me.

People on this board can clearly be dreadfully ignorant, and also demonstrate awful design sense. Some have even had the temerity to opine on colour preferences without the appropriate academic credentials. What is the world coming to?
