Miles with Asiamiles allies?
Hi, new to this posting board, I have become a relatively infrequent int'l traveler (once every 1-2 yrs) to a relative frequent traveler due to increased business trips. My stopping points are Taiwan and HK, and because the two countries love each other so much, I decided that the best way to get to both countries is to fly/setup a Asiamiles account. Plus I can get free miles from LAX to TPE due to a transfer in HKG.
Anyways I've collected about 35k miles in 3 months time, but I've been searching around for a way to earn asiamiles using a credit card plan..However being a US-based traveler, I cannot seem to find any US-based cards that credit to asiamiles. The easiest fix is to setup mileage cards with asiamiles allies (such as AAdvantage or Alaska Airlines mileage plan) but the problem is that my miles will be scattered everywhere. What do you guys think is the best course of action? |
Get a Starwood Amex card, and then transfer Starwood points into Asiamiles. That's what the majority of US based members are doing.

The CapitalOne card also allows you to do so.
No annual fee and one mile/USD |
