ita fare classes?
 

I'm looking on ITA for a flight "CX NYCHKG HLWSPCL fare" Is HLWSPCL an H fare? Because, it says on ITA that it's an S fare? Will this qualify for AA miles?

Fare basis normally would be the same as booking class. But not if it's a special CX fare. Then you can have one booking class and the fare basis another.

If it's confirmed to be H, then you qualify for AA miles. If it's "S", you get no miles even on Asiamiles.

Check with ITA exactly what is the booking class. Don't ask for the fare basis.

See, the concern is that ita says it's S, but expert flyer says the same fare basis is booking class H? any clues?
