Lounage Access Question
 

If I am a Silver member travelling on Y class on CX, I know that I can have a lounge invitation card for CX lounges such as The Wing / Pier... Can I use that lounge invitation card to go to other Oneworld lounge, such as QF/BA lounge in HKG or SIN?? (Or only gold and diamond members can??)

Because I heard that the new CX lounge in SIN is not as good as BA/QF lounge, so would like to go there instead.

unfortunately you cannot.

marcuslai is correct... OW ruby = CX Silver etc. only get access to their own airline's lounges. OW Sapphire & Emerald get access to other OW lounges.

I am BA Silver and will fly to HKG on BA C. Connecting flight to BKK is on CX economy. Can I access a lounge in HKG (and which one)?

BA Silver = OW Sapphire
OW Spphire can go to other Alliances' lounges.
For CX in HKG, you can go to The Wing (near gate 2) or The Pier (near gate 63).

Any personal choice/preference/advise about The Wing or The Pier? We will have 4 hours layover in HKG.

Umm....I personally like The Pier...

The Pier:
-- Lots of computer for internet and work
-- Newer than The Wing
-- Much bigger and better design bathroom
-- Less pax
-- Very FAR if your flight is near the immigration which is around gate 4.

The Wing:
-- Nearly everytime I go (when my flight is near The Wing), The Wing has many pax already

-- Just 2 minutes from immigration
-- Better views
-- Look old now...

But you have 4 hours anyway, may try The Pier!!! :D

Or since you have 4 hours, try them both!
