Connection Time In HKG
 

I am arriving on a BKK flight into HKG. I have a connecting flight (888) to JFK one hour 15 mins later. Is one hour 15 mins too short of a connection time? If it helps, I probably will only have carryon baggage.

You'll be fine.

Shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes from gate to gate through transfer security.

Specially if your inbound flight is also on CX. Watch for your name on the signs being held up by the CX ground staff that will be meeting your inbound flight. If you're running really late, the staff will assist you to make your CX888 connection.

carry on bags will slow you down on what might be a long walk - so check them in. the connection is plenty of time.

Hmm....I think I should be the one asking this question. I am flying from SUB-JFK with a 50 minutes connection in Hong Kong. I really hope I can make it!!
