Cathay Pacific Haneda Lounge
Cathay Pacific’s lounge at Haneda Airport features a design style consistent with its lounges in Hong Kong. It is said that although the lounge is owned by Cathay Pacific, its operations are actually managed by Tokyo’s Hotel Okura — the hotel where former U.S. President Trump stayed during his visit to Japan. The lounge menu changes seasonally and includes signature dishes from Hotel Okura.

The matcha latte is one of the lounge’s specialties, but it’s extremely bitter and really needs sugar. However, when I visited most recently (Jan2026), it seemed to have been removed from the menu. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...75448670b.jpeg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...3b5b84bc0.jpeg The buffet-style dishes here feature many Japanese specialties, and the selection changes with the seasons. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...7d9dc729e.jpeg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...5bb09a985.jpeg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...036db35d7.jpeg Here are some menus from previous visits. You can see that both the variety of dishes and the tableware differ quite a lot, showing that the lounge’s menu is carefully curated and adjusted month by month. I highly recommend it. My travel companion ordered the Japanese-style breakfast. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...2f8e00251.jpeg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...5c08e2796.jpeg |
Thanks for that update, but French toast is not a dish conducive to any FT members' New Year resolutions to be fit, lose weight etc LOL
HND was the very first lounge done in the Ilse Crawford / StudioIlse design back in 2014, which has of course since become Cathay's signature lounge look, and it still stands up pretty well, I reckon, in terms of being contemporary and not dating itself. |
I reckon even HKG lounges are not run 100% by CX, with Sodexo as the contractor.

Hi,
It is an excellent J/F outstation lounge . ( used it in December before my CX flight to HKG ( slightly busy but not too bad) for a few minutes ( spent most of my time in the JAL F Red suite room) . From the far end of the dining room you can peer left and get a view of Mt Fuji on a clear day. It is a shame that it closes at 5pm ( especially for the late evening flights back to europe but with no CX flights after 4pm from HND makes sense) Regards TBS |
i usually Dine at Jal F first then move to CX J for these nice nibble and bar service.
|
Yes, this lounge is one thousand times better than the one at Narita.
|
It's really a nice lounge.. In fact often I prefer this to the JAL F lounge. The seating is more comfortable, and the food is also better in many ways.

My understanding was that Sodexo still handles f&b, but that's about it, as CX resumed 'control' of the lounges and 'front of house' – as it was explained to me at there time, any lounge staff wearing a CX uniform is CX, anyone not is Sodexo. But perhaps that's changed now?

quite a difference compare to NRT. But no champagne, that's surprising for HND

I just realised that there is a Centurion Lounge at Haneda T3. I guess this was a recent addition. Anyone have feedback?
I will be flying from Haneda to Hongqiao on 30 January. Will try to pop into the Centurion Lounge to take a look. It only opens from 8:00am, but my flight departs at 9:10am. |

The lounge opened last year . Some details here Centurion Lounge Haneda Airport to Open in 2025 - FlyerTalk Forums I was there at 1pm on 14th December ( quiet with a few tables reserved for centurion members). There were tensa queuing barriers outside ( it reportedly gets very busy and queuing to get in especially later on in the afternoon when a lot of US bound flights leave) Bar made Cocktails were good, buffet looked good and they had wagyu beef sliders available ( may not have them in the morning). Sushi also provided later in the afternoon. Good lounge but might be less so when it is full especially round the buffet areas. Cathay is more spacious ( and larger but have not seen the cathay HND lounge anywhere near capacity) Regards TBS |

Hi,
The lounge opened last year . Some details here Centurion Lounge Haneda Airport to Open in 2025 - FlyerTalk Forums Depending on which gate I will depart from next week (JL flight), I will either try the Centurion, or go to my usual JAL First Lounge for the beef curry! :) Edited: I just realised that the two Lounges are quite close together. I might be able to go to both! |

The Cathay lounges in HK are operated by Cathay Pacific NOT any longer Sodexo . The change happened almost two years ago.
As djsflynn mentions above the lounge food is supplied ,but not served by, Sodexo. |
