CX F Menu 2026

Cathay Pacific FIrst Class Menu Thread for the year of 2026

Another year has arrived and I will continue to volunteer to organize the title thread and put all the information in some kinds of formats. Since many people always ask what CX is serving on a particular route, here is why this thread is set up. I know some of you don't care about it, but for those who care about it, hopefully it will be a helpful guide to present and future CX flyers.

If you don't want to type out the menu, feel free to scan it, feel free to take a picture from your iPhone and then email it to [email protected], I will type it out. Just make sure that you include the flight number and months of travel!

Thanks,
Carfield

================================
Edited to add: Please post ONLY your menus here. All discussions about meal choices etc, please discuss in the: Discuss your meal options here thread.

Only got 3 items to choose from for my upcoming CX252 LHR-HKG in Feb 2026. Not very enticing especially since I don't eat beef.
  • Baked lobster with Chinese cheese sauce cabbage with eight treasures, steamed jasmine rice
  • Slow roast beef cheeks with thyme jus oven baked roasted vegetables, celeriac mousseline, horseradish dumplings
  • Artichoke panzerotti, oven dried cherry tomatoes
Any recommendations?

I've got this flight at the beginning of March so assume I'll have the same menu. Please report back.

Always appreciate you all posting the menus so I can know what to look forward to.

I believe this is the same as last year. The lobster was ok! I would say it was borderline surprisingly decent

Safe choice would be the beef cheek

Or ask for both

March would be another menu (same as January one I believe which I have just flown). LHR catering is so bad FYI, please do not have any expectation.

littlevoices Jan 31, 2026 4:11 am

I've asked for Carfield 's help posting it, but the current CX252 LHR-HKG menu in January on the plane has 3 international mains and the Chinese option (which I'm taking). I believe that l380 is talking about the pre order menu. I wouldn't typically bother with this in F (the whole point should be spontaneous choice IMHO), but the choices available on board are much more limited than the CX253 out of HKG that you see above. So it may be worth looking at pre orders if you have dietary restrictions.

Hi all, piggybacking on this thread. Flying CX252 F for the first time mid-Feb. Any recommendations for menu options? Should I pre-order or keep things spontaneous?

Ah. Got it.

Saw the Jan Menu was posted below. My flight is Mar 1 so I'll assume I get the Jan one. Thanks for the warning on lowering expectation.

I just got a notice that the flight departure was pushed back an hour to 12:20pm so maybe I can sneak in a little lunch in the lounge. Someone said the transition was 11am.

Otherwise, it's fine. I'll get some sleep and then look forward to eating more at the Pier in HK.

Perhaps a bit off topic, but, I'd say this is a good idea, and do believe the transition is about 11am for CX, BA is later at midday, and you can also lounge hop to Qantas which has their "brunch" menu from 9.30-11.30am for the Perth flight. On the CX252 last week I popped in here purely for the fried squid, but you could eat more if you wish. The advantage of LHR T3 is definitely the ability to lounge hop, though the CX lounge is the best choice for food, BA has more champagne/British sparkling wine choices.

So, arriving on the flight full, using the "CX F lunch as a dinner" with your flexible serving time would be easy to achieve, as the light snacks are pretty light, and the breakfast could easily be skipped to get a further 30 minutes of sleep and if you're connecting - certainly the Pier F breakfast will be far better than onboard.

My personal approach last week with the 11am departure, arriving from MAN about 3 hours before scheduled take-off: Asian breakfast at the CX lounge, then sit and enjoy the views of the planes/read; About 9.30am I moved to Qantas for the squid, 45 minutes later (it is busy so it took a while to be served) I went to BA for some British sparkling wine before boarding (they had 3 brutes and 2 roses). Due to some technical issues on the LHR side we didn't leave the gate for about 90 minutes after boarding, so there was plenty more champagne on-board. And as it is a long flight (not long enough for my liking, we had a "good" wind that meant even with the delays we arrived a few minutes early) there is lots of time to have a leisurely lunch, snack, nap, and then on with the day.

Finally got around to upload photos! Impressed by LHR's catering. Here are some highlights
  • best non-beef burger, the yam fries were mediocre and soggy though
  • requested the shrimp to pair with the salad from the international menu
  • lobster main course was surprisingly decent
  • the mango sticky rice dessert was divine! crew said its the first time seeing this dish too.
