Missing miles, claim name mismatch
For the second time this year, some legs (not all, some are fine!) of an itinerary are not credited and when I try and claim them I get Error code: ERR_MPO_MMOAV_2010 and a message saying my name needs to match my profile. My name 100% matches my profile. I need my status credits to get my bookable upgrades and I am spitting chips that they are not crediting my flight - flown 2 weeks ago now!
Anyone ANY idea why this happens or what to do about it? As mentioned, second time this year..... |
i book all flight direct from CX , on website or call center , and i got >150 flights with CX in the last 10years , i dont have one single flight missed . so sometimes i want to know how and why people would missed.

Hi Blueboat. You should read a few other threads - this is a very common issue. I am CX Diamond, probably have more than 150 flights in the last 10 years, also always book on the Cathay website or via call centre - and get this issue on average twice a year. A very helpful post in another thread suggested that Cathay's automated system cannot cope with more than 2 flights on one day (and my issue above was indeed flight 3 on the same day). I tried to get it fixed using the chat/whatsapp - she said it would take 6 weeks - so I eventually rang up, sat in a queue for 30 mins despite being Diamond and after escalating to supervisor, was fixed within the hour. But it did take escalation to the supervisor.
