Stopover on a redemption

Is it possible to book a stopover on the website with a redemption flight?
Looking at YVR-HKG-TPE-YVR.

What's the best way to do this?

Under 24 hrs (transit) yes. over 24 hours (stopover) no. Just the same as booking 2 separate tickets then. This changed a few years back.

yes. one of the more major devaluations to the AM program which IIRC occured shortly after the pandemic started

it'll be either a transit under 24hrs, or book two separate itineraries

2019 changes to stopover rules extremely annoying https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/35166876-post8.html

My brother’s family on a double round trip to try and replicate two stopover (SYD-HKG-SYD, HKG-NRT/HND-HKG, I’m currently with them in Japan). The lack of second stopover caused a last min repacking because the Japan sectors were Y (Australian sectors J) and they have to reduce the amount they brought over.
