Status Points from new Synchrony MasterCard?
 

Has anyone been able to successfully receive Status Points from the Synchrony Mastercard which just switched from Visa back at the end of March?
My spend in April exceeded $5,000 as per the terms, my Asia Miles were immediately credited and showed up in Upcoming Transactions, however the expected 10 status points showed 0. The asiamiles statement came through today and similarly shows the incremental Asia Miles with no status points received.

The claim is that this will take up to 6 months, just after my renewal year and when my points reset.
My concern is that Synchrony is not hooked up correctly with Cathay and the status points will never be received certainly missing the extra few points I'll require to move up to Silver.
