2024 StanChart Status Points
 

Hi,

Is anyone else having trouble with status points earned through 2024 spend being credited to your account? Since earning moved to quarterly instead of annually in 2025, crediting for 2024 seems to be a mess.

The Cathay call centre staff seem completely unaware of the ability to earn status points via credit card spend, which makes for a conversation going round in circles.

for them the call center , especially the china center , it's kind of a new thing for them , and not many of them even have a credit card (i guess they were mostly very young) , so i think it will be a waste of time to try to hope them understand what happen with the credit card spending.
the hk center should be better.

In China, Cathay's credit card partner never issues status points via credit card spending, so I think there is no such training materials for those people in China call center.
