Cathay Pacific Economy Class Menu Thread for the year of 2025
Another year has arrived and I will continue to volunteer to organize the title thread and put all the information in some kinds of formats. Since many people always ask what CX is serving on a particular route, here is why this thread is set up. I know some of you don't care about it, but for those who care about it, hopefully it will be a helpful guide to present and future CX flyers. If you don't want to type out the menu, feel free to scan it, feel free to take a picture from your iPhone and then email it to [email protected], I will type it out. The gravy for chicken was tasty and the meat was tender. Load was low and cabin service was beyond excellent. Multiple re-fills of drinks was offered and crew checked on pax multiple times. A very pleasant flight to start 2025. |

Visually unappealing, but the taste of entree was acceptable. PVG lounge was the saving grace. Cabin service was very good. |

In-flight service was BEYOND OUTSTANDING, one of the very best post COVID. All ranks of cabin crew proactively offered multiple rounds of drinks and snacks (yes even saw ISM in Y cabin). The only short-coming was the mid-flight meal service, which interrupted rest period of passengers. But crew explained passengers often felt hungry by middle of the flight, and indeed many instant noodles were served before the second meal service. |

Just to say that I'm finding the Y menu barely matters anymore because CX is *always* out of one of the entree choices for the main meal, regardless of where I sit in the cabin, on LHR flights. I felt forgiving the first time, the second time they even offered to sub in a business class meal, but it's become a consistent and frankly ridiculous pattern.
