BA U class status points?
 

I recently upgraded my BA premium economy ticket (T) to business class with CASH, and it appears the new fare class is U. Does anyone know if CX treats this as business or premium economy in terms of sector points? It's not very clear in the status point calculator.

Are you sure the fare class is U? Did you do an online check-in or airport upgrade?

If its with cash, I think CX will treat it as biz

Booked BA Prem Econ and upgraded using an AA SWU cert which booked into BA U-Class a couple of times.

The first time mileage didn't credit. Filed mileage claim and was initially denied because U is a redemption class but was given original Prem Econ points after providing Eticket receipt.
Second time was credited Prem Econ (original fare class) automatically without making any mileage claim, considered myself lucky.
