Cathay Green - reset date?
 

I assumed that the Cathay Green tier reset the same time as the higher tiers like Gold (ie end of this year), but when I checked a family members account last night, their status credits were reset to zero. Do they not follow the membership year like others who had their accounts reset at the start of this year? With some trips coming up, this family member would have easily made it to Silver.

Green tier has never followed the reset date to end of year like SL, GO or DM as they never have a status - they were not involved in the extension of status. So, if their membership year was from Aug, then still Aug. nothing changed.

Old élites pre-COVID got our status extended to Dec., which is why now many of us have membership year that matches calendar year, but CX's programme was not designed to be this way.
