Cathay Pacific using Chase points

Is there a way to book a Cathay Pacific flight using the Chase points? Google says it should be possible via British Airways, but they don't show me any flight availability when I search. Does it mean that it's not possible or they just don't have any available tickets for the dates? Any other options?

CX has limited availability for it's own program, I assume they have fewer then that on BA. And the one's released are usually probably booked, unless you're much further out. Depends on the destination, class and dates.

You can use Chase points to book CX. It has be available on their portal. Not all flights and routings will be available. Chase points will be treated as cash and be used to book a revenue booking. BA flights operated by CX might show up depending on the routing.

However using Ultimate Rewards points via the portal instead of a redeeming them through partners devalues the points dramatically. Not advised.
