Lounge access when travelling on CX mixed cabin award

Hello there (my first thread):

I have an mixed cabin award ticket going from SYD-HKG-KIX, with SYD-HKG in W and HKG-KIX in J, all on CX metal. I know I certainly have access to the CX J lounge in HKG, but the website says:

"If you are travelling in different cabin classes within a single ticketed journey (e.g. from Singapore to Hong Kong in Business Class, and a connecting flight to Paris in Premium Economy), we will honour the highest class of travel (Business Class) for lounge entitlement* throughout your whole journey to make it a comfortable one. Please note that this only applies to flights operated by Cathay Pacific."

Would I have access to the QF J Lounge in SYD? (The lounge CX uses for J passengers from SYD)

Yes but you should keep that page or print one out to show the ground staff. I have done it twice for my parents, and both times we needed to argue with the ground staff.

I am curious if it counts both legs of a stopover in Hong Kong as a single ticketed journey. Anyone have experience with arriving in Biz and departing in PE a few days later but still having lounge access?

Hey, I have AMS-HKG on CX in J, arriving very early, can I get lounge access on arrival based on my J ticket + OW Saph?

Unlike AMS you won't be passing through the departure area in HKG on arrival unless you have a connecting flight.

There is no arrival lounge in HKG, if that's what you're asking.
If you're transiting, then yes, you'll have lounge access.

The same page referenced by OP, https://www.cathaypacific.com/cx/en_...dmittance.html, makes it very clear,
So the answer is no
