Business Light

I recently purchased a CDG/HKN/SYD and did not check the fare basis.

I have tried to find out if this fare accrues status and miles.

Have tried to do a dummy booking in this Business Light so I could check, but have not been successful.

Can you help

I assume that your question is about collecting avios and TP on BAEC given your profile.

You should be able to look at the fare class on your eticket under "class". It is probably I.
All CX business tickets would normally earn 125% avios as well as TP.
UPDATED 3 October: P class does not earn avios/TP. If P class and as mentioned below you should create a QR privilege account linked to your BA EC account, credit the flight to your QR account and then transfer to BAEC.

Think old age is creeping up on me.

Have just notice the Class I . It was the article in Head For Points that raised my concern and although my fare is a very cheap one it seems that I will get my Tier Points as it'is not class P

Aghghg!
Thank you for the warning about P class on BAEC TPs.
I made a booking 2 months ago, tried to do via CX, but UK Visa rejecting all CX bookings, so had to do so via Expedia.
Expedia booked into P class, not I as I was expecting. Only just spotted this. Flight in 2 days.
The TPs should have got me Gold, but no dice... hence, I guess it's chuck the points unless I credit to QF?
SO Annoying.

Must be a special Visa card. Lots of UK people book CX flights with Visa card back to HK.

See if Expedia or CX can up-sell you to D class if you are okay with the fare difference?
