You will be in a sad situation.
Restricted to a departure gate area with nearly no shops open.
it will be no fun staying overnight.
AT least, they won't take your temperature and whisk you to an isolation facility if high.
Maybe the rules will be relaxed by November.

let’s hope so. I have a 18 hour layover on 10/31 thankfully in J to MEL from SFO.
