Repatriation Flights from NZ to UK
 

Someone on faceache mentioned that Cathay are running some charter flights to repatriate UK nationals stuck in Christchurch and Auckland this week, 5 flights in all with Friday and Sunday from Auckland and Saturday and Monday from Christchurch not sure where the 5th flight is but more than likely AKL. Tickets are £800 each economy for 2 years and older and there is a touch and go re-fuelling stop in HKG with no one allowed off the plane, no mention of other classes for sale so probably business and first will be closed off, the charter is arranged by a company called CTM.

They did something similar for Manila. about US$986 all-in for economy last week, also via HKG. PAL offered direct service at around £900 i heard.
