Can I add a segment to one-way later on?
If it's a non-stop now - can I add my 2nd segment (effectively a stopover) in a week or two? Is this a change or a re-issue? Thanks - I think Percy answered this in regard to adding segments to
a multi-carrier - I'm talking about just Cx, two segments max...can it be done and what are the damages? |

Thanks, Ernest - what i was considering was booking my one-way F right now while it's available...(knowing that I'm using a stopover in HKG for a short time) ... then as soon as the "onward" leg becomes available ( J only, in that next destination, no F on that plane) - I'll add it on. Since there's just one F, I'd rather not wait, "just in case." Does this make sense? I don't mind the $100 as much as I would mind losing the F.

I think in this case it's better to book with a dummy date for the second segment, and then when the calendar opens for your desired date, change the date of the second segment which is cheaper than a destination change, $40 at most.
