Change of flight time query
 
Dear all, a little advice please. My Son booked flights months ago with the final 2 legs Mel-Hkg-Man. Originally the layover was (7am to 01.35) 18.5 hours. There has now been a time change (9.45 pm 1 days earlier to 01.35) so basically 28 hour layover.

So before my Son contacts CP customer services and gets fobbed off, is he entitled to complimentary hotel accommodation? He is travelling in economy if that makes any difference.

Originally he was going to spend the day in the city site seeing but with the changes the times are very inconvenient. Thanks
