You have version 1 targeted offer? What is your target spend ($0 to target spend is rebated only at $4/mile)?

Yes, but those offers are targetted, so if you didn't get a mailer about it then you can't have it.

Do you think the targeting is random? Is there anything I can do to get targeted more often?

For another bank we were told complaining will get us blacklisted from targeted promos.

I think spend has something to do with it (withhold spend during non-promo)
Or amount of $$$ you have over in the banking side.

Doh...missed that part. I previously received a few of these offers by mail, which I don't have access to at the moment. So I guess I'll find out once the promotion is up if I was targeted for any of them!

This is nominally off topic, but has been discussed here previously, so I hope it's OK again...
I have a few hundred orphan AsiaMiles which will expire in a few weeks. In the past I have been able to transfer them to Moneyback Points, but now it seems that such transfers can only be from Moneyback to AM and not vice versa. Is that correct, or am I missing something?
And if it is correct, is there any way I can get value from these miles?

New HSBC summer offer -
https://www.redhotoffers.hsbc.com.hk...er/mass-spend/

As I understand it
600 RC when accumulated 500+ transactions total 30,000+
25 RC per 500+ transaction when accumulated 500+ transactions total 8,000+

Edit - misread, 30k not 3k.

Local spending only. Broadway & Mannings excluded.

Yep. Just thinking as many people (such as myself) get posted to London for 6 months to 1 year or more, and preliminary research has shown terrible local GBP cards...

Some of these deals can really mount up - for example, if you shop at ParknShop with a VisaSig this weekend (offer ends 30/6) with Red Hot Rewards set to Home and spend $500 then you would get $88 back one way or another.

Perhaps the ultimate arbitrage is to bring US cards for use in the UK!
