CX Lounge at MEL
 

Can anyone tell me what this lounge is like?

It's quite pleasant..reasonably large but with no outside views, fairly good range of food & drinks, no showers or business centre. Nothing to complain about, but if you're qualified to use the QF lounge, I'd definitely use that instead..much larger and has everything that the CX lounge lacks.

I echo those sentiments. We were just there on 29SEP and it was fine for the 30 minutes we were waiting. Dim Sum, finger sandwiches, packaged cheese, cracker and biscuits. Made myself two screwdrivers and had a little snack (saved up for the great service ex-MEL!). If you are planning to spend a great deal of time in the lounge and are a OW Saphire or Emerald, I would use the QF Lounge.
