I read on the CX site that I can take a guest into The Pier if I'm travelling in F. That surprised me - is this the case?

Presumably they must be same day ticketed on CX or KA? Thanks.

Yes and the guest can be on any oneworld carrier. This is a oneworld rule per https://www.oneworld.com/ffp/lounge-access.

First Class passengers may invite one guest to join them in the lounge. The guest must also be travelling on a flight operated and marketed by a oneworld airline.
