CX or BA or SQ flat bed
Hi, I will travel with my family ( 4 Pax )2003/2004 to Phuket Thailand !
I have the following choices Cathay "J" over Swiss miles 4 * 120k FRA-HKG-BKK-HKG-FRA or with LAN CHILE MILES 4 * 140k on BA "J" BRU-LON-BKK-LON-BRU or with a trick on SQ "D" itīs a LH-fare 5400 EURO for all 4 of us 2adl+2chd CAI-FRA-SIN-FRA-CAI So I know the confort of BAīs flat beds, but never flown the other in biz! any Suggestions, my preference is the bed ! |
If the horizontalness of the bed is important to you then go on BA. If flat but not quite horizontal is OK then go with CX wher all the other bits of the service are much better.

CX food and IFE beats BA hands down so I would say CX is the way to go, just be preparred for a slightly odd sleeping position. Having said all that, all of the options are pretty good - you are talking about my first, second and fourth favourite airlines! |
Battle of Business Class flat seats
For an airline's long haul Business Class to be taken seriously, it now has to offer passengers flat seats. British Airways were the pioneers with this concept - such was the success that competitor airlines have been quick to introduce a similar style of product. How do they compare ? We despatched a Research Auditor to evaluate the "flat seats" provided in Business Class by the 4 airlines below. The same staff assessed each airline, with the prime requirement to establish total "Seat and Sleep Comfort". http://www.airlinequality.com/Produc...lat_review.htm |
