Difference in catering in LAX and YVR flights

Does anyone know the present day ( i.e. is there caviar)status on the CX catering in FIRST on the afternoon YVR flight and the evening LAX flights. I have heard on the boards that on supper flights (LAX) no caviar, but on the YVR afternoon flights there is a full caviar and salmon service.

THANKS

All long haul First Class flights have caviar as their first meal service.

I just did the afternoon YVR flight and they had full Caviar and Salmon service along with dinner in both directions to/from YVR.

Does the YVR-HKG flight that leaves around 02:00am have caviar service these days? I remember that once on the YVR-JFK leg they didn't seem to have any, and they had a limited menu and no amenity kits.

No, caviar service is not available on the late night departure from Vancouver. A full supper service with caviar was already served on the JFK-YVR segment. A refreshment service was served, plus the usual high quality mid-flight snack buffets... and breakfast prior to arrival.
