where/how to find equipment?
 
how do people find out in advance which
aircraft is used on a certain route way
ahead of time?
i want to find out which 343 type will be
used on CX 839 on Dec 22 and on CX 838 on
Jan 7. will they be the leased 343s from SQ?

Go to "schedule" section of CX.com.

I did the search for you, and it shows EQV for your outgoing trip in December, but shows 34C on your way back in January.

Also, go to your personal itinaries on MPO website. Then, they usually shows the equipment type there, even if it say EQV on main page.

My source indicates that on 12/22/02 CX839 will be a 343 with old F and old J. On 01/07/03 CX838 will be a 34C with new F and new J.
