Does CX offer N/C headphones?
 

Does CX off n/c headphones on their long-haul flights or should I bring my own pair with me?

Tango--I my past 4 transpac flights on CX ( LAX-HKG), they have had the Sony NCH in FC. They are hardwired into to armrest console and there is no switching box on the cord like the Bose. They were pretty good, but I like the over the ear Bose much better. Remember the days of the Koss Pro 4-AA headphones of the '70's?..the Bose do a better job of sealing noise out and I believe the circuitry is better.

The jack on the CX NCH is a funky two pronged system so your own probably won't work. Also it's only in F I think.

Cathay's Noise Cancelling Headphones are attached to the seat in the First Class cabins. Even if you bring your own, you won't be able to plug in if you're in First Class. However, I always bring my SONY NC headphones whenever I travel in Business or Coach and they work fine there.
